I can’t wait to read your new book, Debbie! Hope it’s ready soon.

Hi Joanne! Thanks for your interest. Target date for the ebook is October 1 (fingers crossed). The paperback should be available a few weeks later.

Wonderful article about the cherry orchards in Montana and the idea for your upcoming book. Can’t wait to read it.

Btw, have you read “Tom Lake” by Anne Patchett? Much of the book takes place in a cherry orchard. The book is such a masterpiece, I was almost ready to pull up stakes and go looking for my own cherry orchard! I know your book will be in the same category.

  4. I had no idea cherries were grown that far north! This is such an entertaining and enlightening post. And I can’t wait to read the book!

    • Debbie Burke says:

Appreciate your kind words, Pat! Cherries are surprising since we’re so far north and winter can be brutal. A January cold snap to -16 caused this year’s crop to be skimpy, but still tasty.

  5. Ann Berger says:

Congratulations Debbie. So looking forward to the new book. How your new book came about is a story in itself. So interesting. Thank you for sharing the 406 magazine.
