Call Today

Yesterday, a scientist friend called me from England, concerned about COVID-19 corona virus.

She offered these wise words:

“Today, I’m calling people I care about. Many are older and at high risk for infection. If they’re healthy, that’s wonderful and we’ve had a nice conversation. But if something happened, I would always regret not calling them today when I had the chance.”

Phone calls don’t transmit viruses. I’m grateful she cared enough to call me.

If you call someone you love today, you’ll never regret it.

In this electronic age of texting and emailing, it is so easy to forget how hearing the voices of dear friends and beloved family members can be soothing and reassuring. Especially in this time of our national/worldwide outbreak of CORVID-19 corona virus. I’m making a list today.

Thank you, Debbie, for reminding me.

Take care, dear friend, and travel safely.
